One of the true joys in my life has been illustrating books and products for children.
A Very Smart Cat, written by Mario Picayo and my second children's book, is one of my most favorite illustration assignments of all because Ms. Kitty is such a personality.
Here's two of my favorite illustrations for the book which by the way is Spanish/ English bilingual.

Working on this book was very much like animating a film since all of the action takes place on top of a kitchen table within a farmhouse in Upstae New York. Only the opening and closing scenes are exceptions.
